Page to Screen: Book & Film Club

Love books? Love movies? Page to Screen is a welcoming club where we explore great stories in both their literary and cinematic forms. Each month we host a Tuesday screening at 5pm of a film adaptation, with sets of the original books available to borrow through our partnership with the public library.

This year we’ll be reading and watching a mix of classics and modern favourites, including The Shining by Stephen King, Little Women by Louisa May Alcott, The Social Network (based on Ben Mezrich’s The Accidental Billionaires), Clueless (inspired by Jane Austen’s Emma), Brooklyn by Colm Tóibín, and Blade Runner (based on Philip K. Dick’s Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?).

Whether you’ve read the book, watched the film, or are completely new to the story, you’re welcome to join us for screenings, conversation, and community.
